Have a Netgear WG511T wireless adapter for my laptop. It isn't recognized at boot-up. Have to unplug and reinstall the card every time I boot up. After it is recognized, it works fine. Have the latest driver. Any ideas?

Aside from getting a LinkSys wireless adapter.... live with it. I have seen troubles with Netgear wireless adapters, so I do not offer them to my customers anymore.

It seems that Netgear wired routers, ethernet cards and hubs work great, but their wireless equipment is not so good. I have switched all of my clients to use LinkSys for their wireless solution.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

check the documentation for your motherboard. sounds like it may be a setting in the BIOS.
