Do you all think it's fair that a husband only pays the rent at the apartment; nothing else. He gets paid weekly, works 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week most of the time. The wife pays for everything else. Is he just using the woman?

I don't know if this is a real question. If you are married, your money is their money and vice versa. He can't be "using" the woman in that way, because if they separate whatever he has accumulated alone belongs to her as well.

total everything up. If the rent equals the total of all the other bills than he is just paying his half. If not then yeah, he's taking advantage. Personally I think when you're married you should dump all your money into one account and pay your bills and finances together. Splitting up the finances only causes problems.

I can't say if he is using her or not, I know of a couple that teh husband does that and puts the rest in a joint savings account as they are looking to buy a house.
If he's just being stingy then there's a problem.

Depends on what the bills are. I would LOVE it if I only had to pay the other bills instead of our mortgage. That is our biggest bill and the others do not come any where near totaling that.

Isn't a married couples money "theirs"
If you seperate accounts - maybe you should discuss the division of the bills also to be more equal to the pay that is brought home

it depends on u. i pay the mortgage and he pays the other bills. that has worked for us and i dont feel used. when u are together their is no "my money, your money"
