The phrase "the best things come to those who wait" is finally coming to a close for me. And it appears to be a happy ending. Hopefully, I'll know soon but has anyone ever loved someone that they couldn't date or be with right away and it was just pure hell, just to live every day!!! Thinking about them 24/7. I've been waiting 2 years now for someone and it looks like the wait is almost over. I have stated my love for them vice versa and there were plenty of times that I wanted to leave the state but they had begged me not to give up on them. Was I crazy for waiting or lucky in love :) This person is like my soulmate and our personalities fit perfectly like a puzzle piece.

Awe...I am happy for you. The best things always come when you are patient.
I didn't wait for the girl who fit my personality, and I wished I had.
Good luck with you and yours. Just take it still one day at a time. Don't let her use you as a rebound, let her figure out still whatever she or he needs to figure out, just so you don't get hurt.

Let me get this straight. You love this person and they have told you they love you too. They are in a relationship that you have waited to be over for two or more years and you think it "might be ending".
You were going to leave the state but the other one asked you not to but to wait on them and they are "still" in a relationship with someone else, not you.

Weigh anchor and set sail. The love boat is pulling out.

If said Other person was going to leave the first relationship he/ she has had many times the ample time to have done so. This person is getting their cake and eating it too and you my friend are footing the bill be it money or emotion.

If you wait around long enough you might eventually get the one you are waiting for, after their present SO drops dead from old age. Meantime there are more men/woman out there more than worthy of your attention (Sorry, I didn't see your sex so list this as either way).

Good luck.
