I ordered the transitional glasses that go from regular eyeglasses to sunglasses in a few seconds..If you ever owned a pair...how good are they? I am hoping they are superb cause i just spent 200.00 on them!!! Please tell me all that you know about them?

I know the old ones use to take a minute to change from dark to clear but these new ones are improved and they take 15 seconds at the most. is this true?

i also hear that they never go completely clear, they have a greyish tint to them when they go back from dark to clear....is this true? will it affect my driving and t.v. watching?

You dont even notice it, (The transition from dark to light) if you are wearing them, They are good, but watch out about scratching them. They darken quite fast. I like them.dont use lens cleaner solution on them, just silk cloth and a bit of water,if you need it.

my 9 yr old wears them. they're great. they lighten up completely when indoors or at night so they won't affect your driving. my son's get dark enough in the sun so that he doesn't have to squint and they only take a few seconds to go from dark to light and back again. i think you'll like them. it may take a couple days to adjust to them.
