I got a really nice black sweater stained by clorox. Is there any possible way to get the black, black again? Any dyes, paints, markers...anything?

Thanks in advance!!

You could bleach the whole thing white and then dye it any color you choose. RIT dye has been around a long time, because it works, but if you just try to dye the spot you will never get an even shade.

You have to dye the sweater. Clorox is a bleach and takes out the color. In the future use clorox 2 which is safe for colors.

go to your local supermarket and buy a box of dye... it's cheap
and when your finish soaking the sweater it will look new again, since it probably was beginning to get lighter anyways. You can try a sharpie if you got one laying around, if not... then they coast about the same. But you'll like the BLACKNESS from the dye.

The bleach has actually removed the color. If it is just a small area, I would try a Sharpie.
