I don't know anything about the war and as I am now of voting age, I think I should catch up. Any advice?

Well, all news is slightly biased, really, but State of Denial by Bob Woodworth is good, it is all about the foibles of the Bush Administration.

Read the Bush administration's "The Iraq War Report."

Well, since you're unbiased right now, I think you should do your own research right now.

Research on MidEast Culture, articles by terrorism experts, the Bush Sr. Administration's first attempt in Iraq, "weapons of mass destruction", oil industry, Iraqi civilian lives, sanctions, military war life, Al-Quada...etc.

And try to keep an open mind while you are researching, and drawing your own conclusions.

And you can also research on possible 2008 presidential candidates and their views after you know your own.

Very little about the Iraq war is based on rationality, so I doubt you could ever find a source that is unbiased.

You should expose yourself to all viewpoints of the issue....there is certainly no black & white...and make your own decisions.

Learning a bit about the history of the region couldn't hurt....wish our leaders did a bit of that too...
