why with one but not the other?

when someone smoked pot and inhales but doesnt cough then why would I cough when trying to smoke a cig. In both cases ur inhaling smoke, so why cough with one and not the other That just doesnt make sense to me! Can you answer that one?

when you smoke pot you inhale deeper and hold the smoke in your lungs thats why people cough when they smoke dope if people cough when they inhale from their cigarette they have bad lung problems
