While I would stop short of saying "entitled" ... most definitely if you are in the U.S. when you go into labor, you will not (CAN not) be turned away from any hospital, and will be allowed to deliver your baby there.

If you are visibly in late pregnancy at the time you appear at a port of entry, there is a possibility you will be questioned and denied entry, even with a Visa. A Visa is not a guarantee of entry, and likely says so right on it. That will be up to the customs officials at the port of entry.

For others who answered, until and unless the U.S. changes the laws in regards to bestowing citizenship on any baby born in the U.S., that is just the way it is, and it's the law. The way to deal with this, if you don't agree with or like it, is to work to get the laws changed, to require residency or citizenship on behalf of one or both parents in order to become a citizen by birth.

First off, to some of the people who answered before me, SHE HAS A VISA!!!!!! Which means she filled the paperwork, got approved, and is here LEGALLY!!!
As far as weather or not you can deliver here, if you go into labor it is illegal for a hospital to turn you away no matter what you ability to pay is.

entitled??????Can you stop the delivery?
Are you one of those illegals who jumps over the border, has a baby just for the citizenship and then demands your american rights? You sound like you are going to manipulate the government of this fine country. Go to www.numbersusa.com, and read up on what illegals are doing to this country. Stay put and have your baby in your country.

well, if you happen to be in the states when you go into labor, the hospital CANNOT reject you just because you are a visitor.
