The father does pay sooner or later, these days there are deadbeat dads doing prison time because they have evaded the authorities for so long.

who ever owes it..it never goes away! the child support is not the governments money, unless you are on CASH welfare benefits (at least in TX). anything he gets back on taxes should be given to you (if you went through the courts to order CS).
if he dies...whatever assets he has that can be liquidated and used to pay the back support. so if the government is not owed any money for supporting your kids then you get the money

You need to contact a lawyer if you are owed money for Child Support. You have to be careful what some advise you get. If the father is remarried the Court system is not allowed to take his tax refund. If you contact a lawyer and if you cannot afford one go to public aid they will help you receive your payments. However, in order to get anywhere the father has to be almost 2,000.00 behind. Whatever state you live in it is their obligation to help you. I work for a law firm and there is help out there.

The government does not pay child support. The mother doesn't get any child support, if the father doesn't pay it.

ALL DEAD BEAT DADS ARE EVENTUALLY CAUGHT AND FORCED TO PAY. IF THEY CAN NOT PAY THEN THEY GO

AROUND ANYMORE, THEY MEAN BUSINESS. AND THE SAME GOES FOR WOMEN. NO CHILD IS LEFT WITH OUT

THE DEAD BEAT TAKES OVER. THEY WILL PAY BACK EVERY PENNY THEY OWN. IF THEY WERE TO GET PULLED
OVER BY A COP IT WILL SHOW UP IN THEIR COMPUTER
AND THEY CAN ARREST THEM RIGHT ON THE SPOT. MY
DAUGHTER WAS RECEIVING CHILD SUPPORT FOR 17
YEARS UNTIL SHE BECAME 18, BUT HE HAS TO CONTINUE
TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT BECAUSE HE STILL OWES BACK
PAY AND WE LAUGH BEHIND IN HIS FACE, BECAUSE SHE IS
ALREADY 22 YEARS OLD. THAT WHAT HE GETS HE THOUGH HE CAN CREATE A CHILD AND GET AWAY WITH
OUT HAVING TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT. THAT IS WHAT ALL
DEAD BEAT PARENTS THINK. THEY ARE DEAD WRONG.
