If she is of legal working age yet, here are some odd-job examples:

Baby-sitting, mowing lawns/shoveling snow, working on a farm, paper route, tutoring younger children.

For all of these, she could post a small ad in your local newspaper that she is looking for work in those fields. Make sure that a parent helps her out with placing the ad and going through the interview process with the potential employers.

If she can legally work, then great places could be with local daycares, YMCAs, & places like that where she can gain some good experience that would look great on college applications.

Probably something tuned to your talents and interests would be best for her. Retail is a good "starter" job. The bad thing about odd jobs and babysitting is that you get no real world skills and/or employment record. If she starts with a company, she could get some promotions and raises, not to mention benefits.

The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

I think Baskin Robins hires at 15. When they're 16 my fave jobs were Juice It Up and Vans. Most places have have a min. hiring age of 16.

I did a secretarial job at fifteen, that involved much translating. But I was very bright and knew three languages fluently already. It was a great experience though!
