APA stands for the American Psychological Association. Many college courses want there students to write papers in this format. All margins 1 in. 12 in. font only with Times New Roman or something similar- nothing fancy. They don't want pretty anywhere in the paper. A reference page is included by itself at the end of the paper in ABC order. You must have a title page. The best thing I find is using the book- I suggest going out and buying it. It's very detailed down to the placement of a period.

APA style mean American Psychology Association style. This means that you must use the APA way of citing things within your paper. It is somewhat similar to the MLA, but in this case dates are more important. there are books at the libraries that can help you cite sources in the right way according to where you got them from (books, articles, magazines, online journals, online database, etc).

It is a format of a college paper. There is an inch border on all four sides and the pages are numbered in the top right corner. There is a title page and reference page as well. It is actually an easy format to follow once you have the sample to go by.
