She may be going through a growth spurt. Give her what she wants for now. Maybe it's time to introduce some baby rice to her? Not all babies are the same , you may have to wean her sooner but only do what your're comfortable with. I have been through the same with mine and find distractiing them or giving a dummy/soother/pacifier will stretch out the feeding time. Sometimes they're are not hungry they just want to suck because it soothes them.

Gosh, whats wrong with the last lady?? "formula feeding idiots?" Just because you formula feed does not make you an idiot.
Anyway, on the question.
My daughter is 3 and a half months and she does that sometimes too. If you are one of us, "formula feeding idiots" than she may have an upset tummy, gas, or a bowel movement thats been difficult to pass. My daughter screams and screams for food if shes gassy.
Anyway, feeding your baby when he or she is hungry (or thinks shes hungry) is not going to hurt her. She may get too full and have a case of the spit ups afterward, thats okay too.
It also could just be a growth spurt. Is the baby sleeping a lot too?

it depends on how much your child is eating. If it's one or two ounces every hour. I'd hold out a couple 2 or three hours, and deal with the fit, and then give 3 and a half to 4 ounces then, and start too see of you can create a time gap. If it was my child, I might try some plain cereal too.
As for if it's healthy? Babies change their schedules it seems, as soon as you get them on one. I think health wise, your baby is fine. pain in the rear to feed that often, yes.

It's fine. As long as your baby is healthy, gaining weight appropriately, etc.
If you are breastfeeding do not listen to the formula feeding idiots who tell you that you aren't making enough milk. 99% of moms (who have not had breast surgery or rare genetic defect that causes them to have no milk ducts) have more than enough milk IF THEY BREASTFEED ON DEMAND AND HAVE SUPPORT AND A GOOD LATCH.
If you are fine with what is happening then it is fine. If you resent it then work on gentle ways of changing it. Like offering more at one feeding (if bottlefeeding), encouraging longer feedings (if breastfeeding), offering other forms of comfort (like the dreaded pacifier, baby wearing, singing, swing, bouncy chair, etc.
Also if your baby has acid reflux then they will breastfeed more often because breastmilk is a natural antacid.

yes, perfectly normal. babies are all different. my son wanted to eat every 4 hours from the beginning, my daughter on the other hand wanted to eat every hour for the first 3 months! up until about 8 mos she wanted to eat every two hours, then seemed to suddenly change, and decided to eat every four hours after that. dont worry, your doctor will weigh and check your little one, and if anything is amiss, hell let you know. :)

I wish I had more info, Breast milk, formula, baby food??? Anyway, all babies are different as I'm sure you've heard. I have two girls who ate differently. My first was a "grazer" meaning she prefered to snack all day (like your baby)rather than eat like the norm. Another reason could be a growth spurt.

I don't know if it's unhealthy, but it's unreasonable. If it's a new thing he may just be having a growth spurt. You could feed him a little more often than usual but not every hour! If he's always done this it's time to break the habit! STart holding him out a little longer every week.
