My husband and I are looking to buy a house in Southwestern Pennsylvania, close to Greensburg but we are wanting a more smaller town in the country if possible. Could someone please tell us of some small towns outside of Greensburg and/or Uniontown that?? Any other knowledgeable info. would be appreciated also!! Thank-you

Greensburg and Uniontown are far away from each other.
About 15 miles East of Greensburg is a cute historic town called Ligonier. It's way out there in the country. The rest of the area is very suburban.

I don't know much about Uniontown. There are many places in the Laurel Highlands, Connelsville?

Have you looked at Hempfield? It surrounds Greensburg and in some parts, it's all country, but it's really nice and very close to everything that you would need. Other suggestions are Latrobe (on the outskirts in the country), Mount Pleasant, Scottdale, and Ligonier.
