We are in the process remodeling our basement and are making a bar out of half of it. We want it to portray a fun, home away from home, cozy, watering hole type feel. It is small and intended to be a place for our family and friends to come sing karaoke, play darts pool and cards, watch the games and have a few drinks. Most of us like country and classic rock music, the outdoors. We are using natural, burnt, and stained woods, bamboo and sugarcane. Our names are Jim and Kerri, he calls me his Genie, and when I am talking about us, I say Jim-and-I (sounds like Gemini) Any good Ideas for a name? Nothing crude, we have 3 teanagers and an 8 year old. Thanks for your help!!

Bamboo and sugarcane? Sounds tropical. "The Cellar" maybe. A lot of cool nightclubs are in. or have been called "The Cellar". Whats that song that Jimmy Buffet sings? How about Good Vibrations. "Club Jim" "Sugershack"

I think Gemini is cute. You'd know the "in" joke! Your bar sounds real cool. We have one, too, and we named it the 342 Bar. Our address is 342. We got some BIG numbers and letters and put them on a base and put it up on the wall.. We even got hats and tee shirts as a gift from a friend. We have neon, and cars as our theme. And beer signs. Also a couple of sports autographs-Bill Elliott and Steve Yzerman. And maps of the shipwrecks in Lake Superior and Lake Huron. And pennants: Michigan State and Detroit Red Wings. Yup: Gemini is cute!

Maybe this is too crude, but I think "Debasement" is kinda funny.

Or, for the country folks: "Friends in Low Places"? Too corny?
