I have seen people send me messages and their actual phone number is not shown. It comes up as 1111 or 4111. How do they do that?

It was possible by enetering a code at the begining of the SMS, but this only applied to O2 mobiles. I cant remeber the code, but it was _#h or _h# or something like.
Not sure if this still works.
I have done it myself and I know it used to work but couldn't guarentee that its still possible.
Try browsing the mobile phone "hackers" sites as they will probably make reference to it somewhere

You cant hide your number when texting from a personal mobile. A text service must have been used to show the numbers you describe
