how many of you have ever cut your finger and never did get the feeling back? I cut my finger pretty bad and had exploratory surgery on it. There were no tendon or nerve damage he said, but i still dont have the feeling and movement is limited. What should I do.

Not much you can do. The finger needs time to recover from the surgery. Try taking a tennis ball or a smaller object and try to squeeze the ball a few times a day; that will help the finger strength gradually as well as the movement.
Experience: about 10 years ago, I cut my index finger very badly and it needed stitches. The cut was down to the bone almost.
I still have limited feeling in the finger, but I can move it okay. Those are the same exercises the doctor recommended.
Start slow. Don't overdo it.
Goodluck.

No doubt you've discussed this with the doctor. I suppose your next step would be to see a nerve damage specialist...costly venture. You can accept your limitations of feeling, or you can spend a fortune trying to regain it. Not great choices, but that's pretty much the jist of things. Sorry and good luck to you!

My boyfriend sawed half of his middle finger off with a saw and was hanging by a nerve. They sewed it back on but now he can't move it and has no feeling in it.
It doesn't bother him but same story with him. You may never get feeling back.
