Why is it that when i try to run a n64 rom, it tries to tell me to plug in a controller???

How do I get past THIS!!!!!!!!!

In order to play a downloaded N64 game on your Wii console, you'll need either a gamecube controller (plugged into the top) or a Classic controller attachment for the Wii Remote.

Either one of these will cost you $19.99 new.
