Some types of exercise are perfectly fine for a pregnancy. You should talk to your ob/gyn about pregnancy fitness.

if you did yoga and pilates before you were pregnant then it is safe to continue. Prenatal yoga is an excellent choice. If you have never done pilates i wouldnt start now, you would have to modify some of the moves...it's a lot harder than it looks. Never push yourself! Now is the time to continue doing whatever you used to do for excercise and staying in shape but not the time to start any new regimens to GET into shape. Best of luck.

prenatal yoga is OK. Pilates is low-impact, but I've never heard of prenatal pilates. A certified instructor would probably be able to tell you if it's OK to do that.

If you haven't done those types of exercises before you get pregnant, it's probably not a good idea to do them while pregnant.

Both are ideal for pregnancy. But you need to tell the teacher you are pregnant because adjustments will have to be made to some of the movements. You might find that some teachers won't take you when you are pregnant, so specialist pregnancy classes are best if you can find one.

If you have always been a physically fit person before pregnancy, then yeah it's ok but you'll have to take it easy. Talk to your prenatal doctor.
