I hear ya, Me and my boyfriend have been trying to conceive for about 2 months also.My period was 1month and one week late luckly i just received it last night..and still no luck but we are having sex as much as we can ,and the pillow tip is a good way to relax with your hips and butt in the air for about 20 minutes.I have been taking ovulex for alittle over a month and also pre-natals vitimins too..just remember that the more stress you put on your body and yourself the harder it may become to be pregnant ..trust me its really frustrating seeing all the negititve tests and hearing the same advice from everyone.. If you have any clinics around you ..I would suggest to check them out.I have a clinic called Planned Parenthood and they may be helpful for you.In my opinion, being younger some doctors may not take you very serious.Im 22 years old and some look at me and my boyfriend like were children ,but all we want more then the world is to just be able to be given the opportunity to have a child. Good Luck to everyone and if you have any advice or ever need to talk with someone in the same shoes ..Im always open for any conversation.. Red_headed_*****_04@yahoo.com - thanks Cathy

I'm sorry, sweetie, a late period doesn't mean you're any closer - all it means, whatever time of the month it shows up, is that you're not pregnant yet. And unfortunately, there's no way to speculate when it might happen - the average, healthy couple has only a 25% or so chance of conceiving on any given month. It could happen next month, or it could be a couple more.

Are you certain you know when you are ovulating - as in, you're monitoring fertility signs and not just assuming that you ovulate around day 14? I hope that's the case, as not all women ovulate at the same time of the month. Ovulation predictor kits can be VERY helpful if you're not certain.

Keep doing what you're doing - vitamins and intercourse when you're sure you're ovulating. (Actually, the three days before you ovulate, and the day that you do, are your most fertile days.) I hope you're pregnant in no time - good luck to you!

You're either pregnant or you're not and it seems as though you aren't pregnant this time. It can take some people up to two years to get pregnant, but hopefully that won't happen with you. That's a bit long. They say it takes an average couple under the age of 35 five months to conceive. Just be patient. It'll happen. If you have sex every other day that should cover your bases. Once you've had sex, it's up to your body and you just have to wait and see. Once you have your mind set on getting pregnant it's a huge disappointment when you're not, but try not to stress about it.

It took me about a year and a quarter to conceive the second time round -- I blame the Depo-provera which I was on for about the same amount of time. I did the vitamins, the ovulation calendar and tests too, but I also raised my hips for half an hour after sex just to ensure that it takes. I've also heard that it helps to climax during/after the guy -- gives the sperm a leg up shall we say. My doctor recommended an every-other-day approach to sex so as to not deplete the population. I wouldn't stress too much about that though especially if the mood hits you.

Also, don't forget about your partner's buy into to all this. Keep the "boys" cool (boxers, loose pants), refrain from alcohol, smoking and rub-n-tug during peek times.

But most importantly, keep it fun!

Try having sex every other day starting when your period ends. Since sperm can live inside you for a few days (and takes that long to reach the egg anyway), you may have better luck. And try to enjoy yourself instead of stressing out, stress can make it more difficult to become pregnant. It takes most couples an average of 3-6 months to conceive.

Getting excited about even the possibility of becomming pregnant can delay your period. I know, yikes! But it's only been a few months. Just keep making sure you have lots of sex during ovulation. Put a pillow under your hips after sex, and keep your legs and hips elevated for about 1/2 and hour to help the sperm get up to the fallopian tubes a little easier. Good luck!

It may well take a healthy couple as much as a 12 months to conceive..Even with timing it right. I wouldnt be worried unless it has been a little longer.. You can try that stuff called Pre-seed. Ive heard it helps quite a lot of women however ive by no means tried it myself. Also, the missionary position is the first-rate role to get pregnant. Make sure you prop up your bum in a while.

You can't get "closer to being pregnant." Either you are pregnant or you are not. Just keep having sex. It might be a little more effective if you are on the bottom and tilt your pelvis so the semen stays in and goes deeper. Aside from that, keep on trying and enjoy the ride, no pun intended. By the way, it is great that you are taking pre-natals, but they do not increase your chances of getting pregnant.

Yeah, lol you cant be "a little" pregnant. Keep trying - two months sounds like a long time, but its really only about two or three weeks of actual possible attempts. Oh and since im towards the top of the list....

TAKE YOUR FOLIC ACID and prenatal vitamins now. BEFORE you conceive :)

Are you tracking your ovulation correctly? That is extremely important to becoming pregnant. Using an over-the-counter fertility monitor might help. If you are still having trouble after a few more months, it might help to seek assistance from your OBGYN. Many women suffer from unexplained fertility issues. The good news is, most of the time it can helped with a few simple techniques. Good Luck!
