Perimeter = length of boundary

For a square its easy ... its 4 times the length of a side

So P = 4s (where s = side length)

For a rectangle its 2 long sides and 2 short sides

So P = 2l + 2w = 2(l + w) (where l = length and w = width)

For a circle its called its circumference

C = 2πr = πd (where r = radius and 2 x radius = diameter d)

perimeter is an identical element as circumference...first you come across the diameter of the circle...in case you purely have the radius, then you truthfully mulltiply the radius by potential of two to get the diameter...then you truthfully multiply the diameter by potential of pi.

good luck
