There were so many songs in the 90's that I loved, but I can't remember all of their titles and the coresponding singers. I would like to know some of your favorite rock, alternative and pop songs from the 90's (other types of music are welcome too - these just happen to be some of my favorites.) I'm looking for some good ones to download to my MP3 player. Thanks so much!

In the 90s I was big into the Grunge sound. Nirvana, Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots,

Iron Maiden was still kranking out some wicked Metal in the 90s but getting no airplay any more :( Most of the other Metal groups disapeered during the 90s. I couldn't stomache Pop music in the 90s. Rap got big and Rap Metal got big as well. Neither music forms appealed to me in the least. Ozzy was one of the few Metal artists still putting out not just tunes but good ones during the 90s. "No more tears" was probably the biggest hit he had during the 90s. It has such an infectious bass line that it crossed many genre lines. Some other 90s Ozzy tunes that have a kind of Grunge feel to them would be Tomorrow, I just want you, Fire in the sky, all from the 90s if I remember correctly.

Aerosmith and Van Halen (most called it Van Hager) both had lots of hits in the 90s. I personally liked old school Halen and Aerosmith and except for Poundcake by Van Hager and Jaime's got a gun by Aerosmith cannot think of anything either has done in a long time I liked.

Then there was an offshoot of the Grunge groups that included Bush, Garbage, the Toadies, Monster Magnet, Alanis Morresette,

Some of the one hit wonders you should check out. Some of these might have come out in the late 80s or early 00s. I'm a bit fuzzy and too lazy to look it up.

Black Crows put out quite a few hits. I like their stuff but not enough to buy one of their CDs. So I can't remember any of the tunes they do off hand. If you like the Black Crows I suggest checking out a few Cheryl Crow tunes like Am I getting through and the Difficult Kind. Alanis Morresette was also big in the 90s and I have her first CD. You oughta know launched her. It's mostly offline right now as I've listened to every song a zillion times :)

Anyway thats some of them. I think Guns and Roses might have still been making music in the 90s but I really think of them as an 80s band. Judas Priest I'm pretty sure put some tunes out in the 90s but they had a very 80s feel to them. REM I think also released some stuff but it sounded like the 80s REM. Candlebox also had quite a few hits during that time. 3doorsdown kind of advanced Candlebox's style. I like alot of 3doorsdown, I didn't not dislike Candlebox just couldn't find any tunes I especially liked. 3 Doors down I like several of their tunes, a few a lot. Though mostly not their big hits. While it's not 90s tunes you might want to check out 3 doors down Landing in London and Behind those eyes. More Grunge influence in those two tunes than most 3 Doors down tunes. Kind of like Candlebox or Better than Ezera but with a whole lot more melody.

Hope this helped.

You Can't Party Your Life Away(or anything it is known as) - Wu (from the Forever cd)/ Tells the tale of each and every child I grew up with, who're nonetheless residing trife now that we are like 20s and 30s. four. There's a DEEP old school one via Rakim that I'm forgetting the title of proper now. I'll upload it if it comes again to me. five. Why - The Roots If you wish to exhibit individuals who don't realise that what is scorching at present isn't truly Hip Hop, then have them watch BET with you, or flip at the radio for a bit of even as. Then allow them to listen the record above. After that you simply gotta provide an explanation for how what is scorching TODAY is most effective what sells, NOT what is well. Sex and drama promote so thats why you notice banging, bling, and hoes.
