Its about a sociopath who works in the Miami Dade forensics lab as a blood spatter analysist. It a GREAT read as well as a series on showtime starring Michael C. Hall (from Six Feet Under)

Patricia Cornwell has a multi book series of ficiton. Great mysteries that are solved through forensics by Dr. Kay Scarpetta. Great web site too.

i read ann rule she was friend's with ted bundy she is a very famous true crime writer she used to be on the police dept' and wrote true crime magazines before writing book's (like the green river serial killer) you will be hooked!
