This is what I did on my 21st and it was a blast. The only cost was the food and my drinks. My aunt let me use her huge back yard and I had a bunch of friends come over for a camp out and bon fire. It was relaxed and the bar was only 5 buildings away from her house. Everyone knew it was a 21st b-day party and knew better than to bring the kids, they knew they had a place to stay if they wanted to really let loose, and the only cost to them was if they wanted to drink.

Themed house party togars are always good, but try and lock away the parents if you don't have your own house and just don't invite kids, themes always make your party the one to remember as all other parties will merge into one. Only provide a little alcohol but most people will probably bring there own hardly anyone eats at a house party so a few crisps will probably do for the boys. And the more you invite the sooner you make the cost of your party back as loads of people will get lazy and give you cash in a card

My 21st is coming up this year too, in May. At first my mama wanted to go on a cruise but that would require saving too much money. Then it was a trip to Destin, FL. Less than a cruise, but still too much. So, I decided on the easiest solution: me, my boyfriend, our mutual friends, and a lot of my family are going club-hopping around my hometown. It's easier because we know our way around here. If we were in Destin or even a different country, we could get into a lot of trouble. It's cheaper and safer this way! Oh, yeah..... don't forget to get a DD!

definatly have a party, or go to london, hire a limo, tour all the oubs and play pub golf. save up your pennies and just invite loads of people to cut down costs, and increase the amount of presents you get. or, just hire a hall, and invite loadsa people and just have a great time! the less stuff you have to plan, the more smoother it will run, as there wont be as much room for mishaps!!!

this isn't incredibly cheap but get together with some friends and go to new york on a shopping spree and to see the sights. So buy your own ticket not your friends or get your friends to chip in to help fund the trip.

medievel parties are great fun and don't involve much planning or money. People could pay for their own tickets. Contact a castle near you for party details
