Troy Smith is a skidmark on the Hiesman trophy tradition. Just disgraceful.

yeah he was sacked five times and he only completed four of his passes heisman winner curse! colt brennan should have won the heisman or at least marshawn lynch or a player whose team actually won their bowl game.

Troy Smith got a wake-up thats all. Listen I was rooting for Florida . It wasnt TROY SMITH'S fault you'll lost. Smith was trying. Your O line ran into speed and power for a change and got a wake-up call. It wanst Troy Smith's fault his O-line let guys get to him and knock him on his behind.
You people who blame it on Troy need to really watch football and read some books on it .
OSU O-line lost the game. Smith manned up and took the blame but the truth of the matter was your O-line let you down last night and playing sorry opponents caught up with ya

There was nothing Troy Smith could have done last night. The OSU offensive line could not contain the faster Florida Defensive linemen. And going 4-14 shows two things. One, that OSU wasn't willing to throw the ball that much. And Two, that the OSU Wideouts can't catch the ball.

Yes I did and I also have noticed there are a lot of sore winners out there too. Troy Smith had no protection from his offensive line which is partly why his stats were terrible. But really people, give Florida credit. They played great.

I think that the Heisman Trophy should not even be awarded until about a week after the BCS championship game. Teams tend to gun down Heisman winners every year.

the line was unable to fend off the Gators, the Gators proved to be a better team last night, I wouldn't blame it all on Troy.
and this is from someone who wanted the Gators to win from the word go.
it happens.. it doesn't take away from the achievements that led Ohio to the championship game

troy smith was not the problem, u really need to learn some football. u must have time and they could not handle the defensive line of fla and did nothing to change it throughout the game.
