Do you recall Chou Parrot?

Question

I notice Radio Clyde is doing their 30th Anniversary this year, and for some strange reason a blurred memory of the late 1970's watching Chou Parrot in school halls and the old Trade Union Centre in Orr Square, Paisley sprung into my aged napper.

Anyone know what happened to these guys? I did a Google search for "Chou Parrot" and the first hit was an island in Japan, but there was only one relevant hit and that was for the only album left for sale.

Although this is now 2007, I'd dearly love to hear from them, or at least see what Y!A can produce in terms of memories, nostalgia, etc.

I keep looking for bands I new years ago and I can't find anything on these sites! I always remember someone telling me that these MP3 sites will have every recording ever on them.....
