Troy Smith should hand back the Heisman after last night. He clearly does not deserve it.

Does he realize that every botched play took another million off his signing bonus?

Troy Smith was higher then Romo and had the Heisman and everyone saying that he was this year's Vince Young. Romo only played good for about 6 weeks. So Troy Smith should feel more bad than Romo. Except that Romo is the bigger baby about losing for the Cowboys so Romo feels worse right now, and probably forever if he had to cry in the locker room afterwards.

The answer is Tony Romo. No doubt about it. Sure, Troy Smith wanted to come out and prove that he deserved the Heisman but the reality is that everyone has a bad game. It's just unfortunate that his happened to come on the biggest stage of his young career. But you can't blame him alone for that whuppin. The rest of the team, especially the defense, can also point to themselves for that embarrassment.

Tony Romo on the other hand can ONLY blame himself. The game was basically a WRAP. All he had to do was hold the ball. The entire rest of the team can look at that one play as the play that knocked them out of the playoffs.

Tony Romo...he himself made the mistake. Troy Smith and the rest of the team played bad...But the cowboys can pin it down to one play that could have made the game.

Troy's TEAM lost was by a landslide, but Romo botched a critical play, so I'll say Romo.

Romo ruined his team's season by himself. Troy Smith had help from his team to ruin theirs.

I feel saddened that Troy feels like he let everyone down (including the Big Ten) but he should be proud of himself. Whom else can say they had the highest number of votes for the Heisman? He broke school records, he influenced many young people and took the defeat like the gentleman he is. Like he said, if losing the game was the worst thing that happens in their lives, then they're cool. He's right. There's so many other things that can hinder us in our lives, but if losing ONE football game in a season is the worst, then I'll take the loss. I'm a die-hard Buckeye fan so I am feeling the gloominess across our fair state, and not even the fact that we beat Michigan can comfort us today, but as the late, great Woody Hayes said..."I don't live in the past. I'm a student of the past, and I try to learn from the past, although some people will say, 'You haven't done a very good job of it.' But for me to live in the past? Hell, no.'"
Looking Forward to 2007 season...GO BUCKS! Today is a new day! Congrats to Chris Leak and the Florida Gators.
