The analogue TV broadcast is going to be phased out from 2008 with a target date of 2012 for everything going digital.

It's being switched over on a region by region basis.

2008 – Border
2009 – West Country, HTV Wales, Granada
2010 – HTV West, Grampian, Scottish Television
2011 – Yorkshire, Anglia, Central
2012 – Meridian, Carlton/LWT (London), Tyne Tees, Ulster

Cheers.
