I am Pecti-Witan (aka Hedge Witch, not Wiccan) a "solitary" practitioner of "the Old Religion", and have been for many, many years. Being a "Witch" is nothing like what is portrayed in movies or on Television. There is nothing flashy about it. we are fairly simple people with "abilities" that everyone has, ours are just honed and utilized. Lots of research and practice. There is a lot to learn when you are dealing with herbal, mineral and candle magick.

I am not a witch but I do know a few. Most of them are male and are still called witches because the a members of a pagan religion called Wicca

My Nan is a witch, when we were little she always used to tell us stories about the good witch with her black cat who always tried to help a little boy or girl who needed her. I always thought the stories were about my Nan - she says she just made them up, but I know the truth! She used to have a broomstick by the back door, and a little witch hanging above the sink!

i am a real life true to the arts divine and devious wizard and sorceror, able to conjure up many megatonnes of magical energies that flow all over and give me a tingly feeling.
i know this because i made a whole cookie dissapear. didnt know it was laced with drugs though

You can't ask for someone to be a 'real' witch when it's only make believe. It is like asking for the 'real' Father Christmas to stand up.

I wouldn't say that I'm a witch, but I have some spell books, mainly Titania, and do believe in the craft :-)
