Put a savoy cabbage in the fridge and let it cool then tear off the leaves and put them inside your bra. Yes it sounds crazy but i was so desperate i tried it and oh my god it was wonderful , the relief was almost instant. Every woman is different and it obviously depends on whether you tear or not but massaging your perineum from 32 weeks onwards everyday with almond oil or olive oil warmed up can stop you tearing. Oh and when urinating pour a jug of warned water over yourself to dilute the urine and it wont sting as much....have a rubber ring ready!!!! to sit on and you'll be fine and invest in a V shaped feeding cushion which will support the baby and make you feel so much more comfortable....it was the best thing i ever bought. Good luck

You can find out more about natural hemorrhoids cure here http://curehemorrhoid.info
Diarrhea can contribute to hemorrhoid formation because the bowel undergoes pressure strains due to the condition. Undue pressure on the veins that make up internal hemorrhoidal structures can worsen existing damage. Internal hemorrhoids are not visible, unless they proplapse (protrude) from the anus, either constantly or during a bowel movement. If this is the case, then you have a grade III or IV internal hemorrhoid. If the protrusion is on the anal verge or the area surrounding the anus, then its likely an external hemorrhoid. Reducing pressure from issues of diarrhea and constipation will help. Not straining during a bowel movement, not lifting heavy objects, not sitting for extended periods, all will help.
An external hemorrhoid is simply a vein located at the anal verge, the wall of which as weakened and protruded. Don't push on it, this will only increase pressure and worsen it. The body has to repair the vein wall and rebuild the integrity. This takes time, perhaps weeks, if all goes well. Use sitz baths and over-the-counter medications such as pads or creams to provide symptom relief in the interim. These won't solve the issue long term, but will give the tissue a better chance at self-healing.
Internal hemorrhoids are a different matter and require more intervention. Your best bet is to educate yourself about the condition, its causes and what options there are to treat it both short and long term. Don't ignore it though, hemorrhoids tend to become chronic in nature, lasting years or decades in some cases.

While in the hospital I took themeds but when I got home I stopped. I wasn't in pain till the meds wore off and discovered I had a major bladder infection, so after two days that cleared up and I felt fine. So this time I will not take all the medicine they offer, and I can really know what is going on. Besides when I went pee and it hurt because of the infection I wasn't in any pain. I didn't have any pain from engorgement, I breastfeed my little guy often.

Minor discomfort after giving birth, surprisingly not bad at all and I'm a pain wimp!I took Tylenol for a day or two but after that was fine.
As for the engorgement, that was quite a bit more uncomfortable. It's a strange feeling when your boobs are as hard as rocks. For about two days they were very, very sensitive. I didn't take anything and it gradually got better each day. Not to bad overall.

I was 17 when I had my son. I did it vaginally, no drugs at all during delivery. I ripped and needed 3 stitches. The pain wasn't too too bad, but it wasn't all that pleasant either. I was overly gentle when sitting or moving - just to be super careful. The engorgement was worse than anything I think. But my grandma was there to "take care of me" and always thinks on her feet. They have a medication in the hospital that you can take to prevent engorgement, but you have to take it *before* they fill in, and since I wanted to try first (and it didn't work), it was too late for me to take it. So what worked beautifully was if you wrap them up in a huge, wide strip of ace bandage - to where you're squeezing them VERY hard. Sounds terrible, but after a few minutes of having them packed securely, they feel a lot better... The only medication they gave me for pain was 800mg Ibuprofen, so I had to work hard to come up with my own plans for pain relief.

After birth? Your uterus shrinks back to it's normal size, so you have a little cramping with that. It may be worse for some than others, but it's unavoidable. It feels like menstrual cramps. You are a little sore in the vaginal area, but nothing that is horrible. Just a little soreness. If you have stitches, of course you will be a little more uncomfortable for a few days. It's really not bad. Engorgement can be a pain. But it doesn't last long. With my first two, they gave me medicine to help dry them up faster, but with the last one, they didn't. Warm compresses help with that.

I never took anything stronger than a Tylenol or an Aleve afterwards. The afterpains do get stronger with each baby though. They weren't too bad for me with #1 and #2 but baby #3 they were killer.
For engorgement, use cold packs on your breasts (bags of frozen peas work well) for swelling between nursing sessions and heat prior to nursing to soften your nipples and get things flowing. The more often you nurse, the less likely you are to suffer from bad engorgement.
If you have any perineal damage, take some super thick maxi pads and squirt witch hazel into them until they are soaked. Freeze them and then wear them in your panties. The cold will feel good on your sore bottom and the witch hazel will help with healing.

My bottom was very sore. No matter what position I was laying in, I was not very comfortable. Walking was tough the first couple of days, every step felt wobbly. I was taking lots of tylenol, and some pain medicine the hospital had available. Also, the first time peeing after giving birth feels like fire - I had some tearing in my delivery, so I don't know if that feeling was from the tearing or if it's like that for everyone. Within a few days of going home, I felt more like myself.

i didnt hurt that bad at all, and only needed an aspirin. the worst pain youre gonna feel is probably peeing for a few days after wards. just keep your peri bottle handy, because youre gonna need it. also, for that sort of pain "down there" especially if you have tears or stitches, go buy a thing of tucks. (the things used for hemorroids.) they have witchhazel, which is a natural antibacterial, and they also soothe like nothing else. i tore pretty bad with my second, and went out and bought a bottle of witchhazel (usually in the beauty isle, its a wonderful astringent because of its antibacterial properties.) and soaked maxi pads with it and put them in the fridge. kinda gross, but let me tell you, they feel awesome for those first few days. one more thing for "down there" pain... you probably wont feel much while your in the hospital, that first 24 hours you still have hormones helping the pain, so before you leave, DONT FORGET to ask your nurses for derma plast spray. (or just ask for the pain numbing spray.) i would use it every once in a while when i had to go out. as far as engorgement goes, it hurts, but not that bad. if you get really engorged and your little one cant latch because theyre too swollen, jump in a hot shower, imagine the milk pouring out, and gently stroke and massage your breasts. (also helps to lean forward so they hang and kind of gently wiggle.) before you know it, it will be like niagra falls, just stand there, and let them squirt on thier own til theyre done, then jump out and try feeding your little one. once theyre not swollen, your baby will have a much better time of it. :) if youre like me, and make alot of milk that first few days, you might end up showering alot, lol. whatever you do, if youre engorged, dont pump, this will tell your breasts to make more milk, the most you want to do is gently stimulate them til letdown occurs then lets them empty without squeezing them. good luck!

Well. They Cut my all the way if you know what i mean. So yeah the pain was bad, but they also gave me pads that when you snapped they turned like ice cold. Which was very nice. STOCK UP!! Peeing hurt, but they gave me a water bottle to squirt as i peed to dilute the pee. when i did the other part of the bathroom i kept tearing. Which if you eat much fiber i guess its not that bad. After a year and a half it doesnt hurt anymore. That part. But the pain will go away quickley and you dont remember that feeling
