As I see it the Big Ten beat out the SEC this year by a record of 3-1 ( only loss coming from the national championship game)
Michigan dominated Vandy
Penn St handed it to Tennessee
Wisconsin gave it to Arkansas
hmmm....just wondering what makes the SEC so great over the Big Ten

Yeah Michigan was expected to win over Vandy but they did it by 20.
Florida could only do it by 6.
If the SEC is so much better than a ranking difference of 8 spots would not be a problem, right?
And if championship is the only one that matters then thats alright. I'll take the credit of dominating the SEC throughout the season and watching my rival fall off the board.
And no I'm not a sore loser. Just don't see what makes the SEC so special because it beats a team that has gone 0-8 against SEC teams. Hmm...lets not forget the fact that the main argument is the "SEC is better than the Big Ten". I guess that is wrong head to head this season.

The SEC is not better than the Big Ten nor is the opposite. What makes them different is the style of play. It would be nice if they did play each other more during the regular season. I'm a Michigan fan living in Kentucky And....LoL....I would love to see Michigan play Kentucky in football...LoL....so that Michigan can beat them just like they beat the So called Great Kentucky basketball team in the '93 final four...LMAO!!!!

Sec is better in the middle team man. they have 5 top 25 teams. And georiga and south carolina are a lot better than let say a middle of the pack big ten team. Sec is just much more faster and talented conference.
Wisconsin barely beat Arkansas
Yeeah Penn state beat tenn But tenn coach is a bad coach they always choke.
Michigan beat Vandy Vandy has been the last and worst sec team this Decade. I bet u michigan would not have beat georiga or arkansas like that.

How many teams in the Big 10 made bowls? SEC had 9. Michigan should've beaten Vandy, Wisconsin was expected to beat Arkansas, afterall Arkansas was ranked 12 and Wisconsin was 6th. Yes i agree Tennessee was an upset, but your 2 flagship teams the LITTLE 10 got WORKED OVER. Keep up the loser talk if that's what makes you feel better.

Michigan over Vandy doesnt help your cause, because this year the SEC did have better teams, though they lost a lot of head to head matchups, though i will say the Big Ten was much better last year.

Because you have to look at it as a whole not just pick a few teams out. Our top team beat yours. I can't believe you even brough up Vandy but I would pit them against the bottom Big 10 teams any day. I'll give you the two wins in the bowl games. Wisconsin was better and Fulmer got out coached as usual. Now, who are you going to put up against LSU, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama and win every week. My point is that our top and middle is better than yours. Look at your bowl record and the SEC's. Your middle of the pack teams couldn't pull it out.

By everybody, I take it you mean SEC fans. I am a Michigan fan living in Florida and all I hear is SEC fans bellyachin about how great their conference is. And how bad everybody else is. Hmmm, sounds like a superiority (inferiority) complex to me. Every fan of every conference thinks their league is the best. I certainly don't spend all my time harping about how great the Big Ten is. All conferences have good and not so good teams.

I wish i'd desire to ascertain, yet i won't discover any information on that recreation on the internet. It replaced into variety of under the radar.

what's even odder is that the idiot that started this BCS is / was the big ten commissioner.
I was wondering the same thing, though. I STILL think that touchdown was questionable...like Vince Young's last year.
