Miles is distance and acres are area. They are not the same type of measurement.

Now if you are referring to square miles then
116 acre = 0.18125 square miles

Acres are area, 160 square acres is 1/4 square mile

I am not sure. But I know how to find out. Find out how many miles are in one acre and then multiply that by 116 to get your answer.

Well 1 square mile is equal to 640 acres. So about .18125 square mile is in 116 acres.

This doesn't make any sense, but this might help you...a Section of land is 640 acres and is one mile square!

Do you mean how many miles if the acres are square, 1 foot wide, or have you have one too many tequilas!!!

You are comparing apples to steaks: mile is measurement of distance while acre is measurement of area
