I am going to try to listen to it. I might try and make it fun by trying to pick out the false statements, distortions, and down right lies. Maybe we should make a game of it and keep score. Highest score wins. I will probably lose as I will go to sleep in the middle of it. But oh well, I probably won't miss much.

As an american I should watch with great anticipation. After all our leader is going to outline the fate of our arm forces and possibly our nation.
As a human being with morals I can't. I have never had a problem watching a president give an address. From Reagan to Clinton I watched. I didn't always agree but, I watched. I have seen many speeches made by our current president and I have to say it's embarrassing. This is the man who is supposed to be the leader of the free world. He is the commander in cheif of our military and he doesn't even have a command of the english language. Yes, that's a jab!
President Bush is (in my opinion) a liar and a murderer. He should be charged with crimes against humanity much in the same was Saddam was. 3,000+ lives mister president and that's just americans in the Gulf. It doesn't count lives lost in our own Gulf due to the lack of response to a natural disaster that we knew was coming. I don't think we have a total there. How many civilians in Iraq? In Afganistan? and how Somalia.
I know that only the history book will tell how we as a world will view this leader (?). As for me, I would rather not view him at all

Since his "New" policy has been previously presented as an American Enterprise Institute paper, as has all of his previous policy statements, it doesn't have the newness that could actually cause stomach upset.
The fact that US policy is being written by a bunch of unelected, non-government neocons at AEI, does however contribute to significant heartburn.

Bush is not long winded like Clinton was. He should wrap it up in a few minutes after all his favorite book (My Pet Goat only has 12 pages.)

No, but it will be hilarious listening to him trying pronounce the words correctly. Will Ferrell, get ready because I think you need to make a movie on making fun of bushy. And to all of you hillbilly people you can actually understand what he's saying I feel no sympathy for you.

I haven't even tried to stomach any of his "speeches" if that is what you call them. From excerpts that I have heard - they seem more like a blend of right wing propanganda and really bad grammar.
Those two things just don't sit right with me.

I haven't made it through a complete Bush address yet. I'll try but it's hard to tolerate his condescending presentations of malarkey.

I would respond, but how many times must I?
Every post is an example of childishness. No reason, no middle ground, no facts, no persuasive argument. Simply insults and smears.
It's like arguing with a six year old. The THUMBS DOWN would seem to agree.

I will certainly watch every moment of it. As to your second question, yes, it will be full of more of the same crap we've been hearing for years now.
