According to my children... I am 34 and ANCIENT so I am afraid to ask them about antique.... lol I believe for cars/trucks, after 20 years they are "Classic" and after 40 years they are "Antique". For furniture and such I am told 50 - 100 years makes them antique depending on a "dealers" opinion. Hope this helps!!

for a car, it's 20 or 25 years old. for other things, 50 to 100 years old is an "antique". What specifically do you have that may be an antique?

Depending on what the article is, anything 100 years or more is considered an antique. However we are now considering anything 50 years to 100 years as "collectibles" or tomorrows antiques.

i believe it depends on what type of article it is, but the standard use to be 100 years, but now i am finding that things 50 years old are considered antiques.... only a professional can really tell you.
