Smoking isn't healthy for you, or any animal for that matter. It is your pet, so you can assess the risk and make your own decision on whether to smoke around the snake. No, the snake won't drop dead immediately, but it will be more susceptible to diseases, such as respiratory infection. Although a few animals (just like people) seem to live very long lives despite the effects of smoking, this doesn't necessarily mean that their health was in the best of shape and that they weren't in pain.
Quite a few people smoke their whole lives and live to be nearly 100. However, they also suffered from severe emphysema.
People and animals will move if downwind of smoke from a fire. There's logic in doing so.

I don't recommend it. Put him in a room that doesn't get much smoke. Cigarette smoke is a foreign chemical and the snakes' lungs do not adapt to it well. They'll survive, but it's stressful to them and unhealthy in the long run.

he should be fine. My mom and neighbor smoke like chimmnys in my room, and my baby corns are both fine and eating like pigs. My neighbor raised 2 corns, a reticulated python, and various boas and other pythons, and he smokes like crazy. The oldest corn has already outlived his life expectancy and is still going strong.

Probably not the healthiest for him. Cigarette smoke is full of harsh chemicals.
Maybe go outside to smoke now.

snakes have one functional lung. so, they can't lose it, whereas you have two, and could live without one of them. at least open a window.
