When it gets hot, they might sweat, occ. it rains, and then they need umbrellas. But most of the time its a mild climate, cold in winter. Great for preserving things. Sun bathing. Makes for long loving evenings and nights.

Its all to do with the hot weather.
When it is hot, people (animals) in general tend to maintain a normal body temperature 37degrees Celcius as their body is full of energy ( heat is an input of energy) it creates an increase and a feeling of low motion is required ie. frequent/extended siestas, slow and less energetic work etc.
Dont expect scandinavians to work as slow as mediteraneans...

If you are scandinavian and settlein spain it will only take you a few weeks to adapt to the local rythme

Its been the coldest on the costa del sol for 10 yrs. with the wettest oct for about 5

on the costa brava it hot and sunny in the day turning cooler in the evening even now in January you adapt to what ever the weather brings you
