Is there a connection with murders and donating stem-cells for research?

Let's clear up some misconceptions here.

Adults DO have stem cells, and CAN donate them. However, the stem cells are already differentiated (have developed to handle specific tasks for specific types of tissues), and are more limited in what they are able to do.

The dispute is over the use of EMBRYONIC stem cells. This is a bit of a misnomer, because they are harvested from blastocysts, which haven't even differentiated enough to be embryos, let alone fetuses or fully formed humans.

If you think any complete set of DNA, with POTENTIAL to eventually, maybe become a human life is the same thing as a fully-formed human with soul/personality/whatever qualifies as human life, then it would be murdered.

Strictly speaking, a blastocyst is no more human than a mole, a tumor, or a piece of flesh from me. Making the determination of what changes are that separate humans from animals or just tissue, and when they occur are at the heart of the debate.

The more you try to simplify a complex subject, the more likely you are to miss the mark, though it does make for more interesting rhetoric, I guess, if you are a simpleton.

For those who argue there is no difference from the instant of conception to adult, what would your reaction be if your ordered chicken at a diner and they brought you an egg? You'd say "I ordered the chicken."

Granted, people are not chickens, but, clearly, neither is an egg.

No, because fully grown humans (i.e. true victims of "murder") really don't have stem cells that could be harvested.

What you may be talking about is use of stem cells from aborted embryos. People who think abortion is murder believe that it is wrong to use the resulting stem cells coming from aborted embryos for medical research. So that's the connection.

What I call homicide is the fertility hospital waste. they convey massive quantities of existence purely to smash maximum of it that they won't in any respect implant right into a womb. as quickly as that is common that a woman will not implant extra until now they die interior the freezer, they might desire to be allowed to head to study. besides the undeniable fact that, if I had my way that source of stem cells does not be available. synthetic insemination should not be allowed. in case you could not have a baby by technique of standard means, in line with risk there's a sturdy reason at the back of you to not have one. besides, we aren't fairly speaking approximately embryos. we are speaking approximately until now they're embryos whilst they're the main sensible for study and optimistically don't have the imperfections. they're purely cells until now making an embryo and an excellent variety of don't get previous that factor. "Embryonic" is a misnomer utilized by technique of people who're the two misinformed or against stem cellular study.

Stem cell donation is not murder. There is no fetus. It is an act of generosity.
