A storm in a teacup refers to something of little importance that has been given false importance. Imagine a storm at sea and then compare that with a storm that you would get in a teacup.
A windfall is an unexpected gain which comes from the time when it was theft to steal apples in orchards but if any fell off the tree due to wind action it was OK to pick them up.
Seeing red is to lose your temper so badly that you act irrationally and which comes from the theory that the blood-vessels in the eyes swell up during anger so that you see things through a red mist.
Feeling blue is sadness personified in colours. First mentioned by Kenneth Graham in his book 'The Wind in the Willows' when Toad is overcome with sadness at losing his friends through his stupidity.

A storm in a teacup - a big fuss over nothing (small cup - big weather)
a windfall - something you don't expect to get. Just fell from the sky
seeing red - getting angry - like a bull does when it sees red
feeling blue - down in the dumps - can't figure out why though.

A "tempest in a teacup" is a situation where someone is making a major stink about something minor. It is not important in the big picture or overall scheme of things, but seems really important to the person brewing up the storm/tempest.
A windfall is getting something you didn't expect, like if a strong wind blew your neighbor's apples over the fence onto your property, thereby making them yours for the taking.
Seeing red is being angry about something.
Feeling blue is feeling sad about something.
