Quit as early as possible
I started smoking at 13 and am now approching 30 and it is the hardest thing that I have ever been forced to do. Employers can and will instill no smoking policies that can terminate your working there. Not to mention the possible problems further on down the line.
I was notified that Jan 1 the company was going smoke free and smokers after that date will be given 30 days to quit or face termination of employment I need my job more then I need a habit.
Not trying to be preachy just trying to save ya the hassle and money later on in life

unsure the place you're going with this yet once you're using those examples to describe why you're nevertheless smoking mutually as pregnant then you fairly fairly might desire to cease. yet I comprehend that that is impossible in specific circumstances I smoked via my pregnancies had 3 babies, 5lbs 2 oz.., 7 lbs14 oz., 7 lbs 4 oz. ( my first became 3 weeks early simply by pre-eclamsia) not a single certainly one of them has any lung or bronchial asthma issues like somebody on right here stated - I beleive those are brought about by technique of the mom and dad smoking around the youngster as quickly as that is born not whilst that is interior the womb.

Yes, quit and don't start back up again. Smoking may "look" cool, or relieve some stress or something, (don't know never smoked) but it is soooooo very bad for you. And baby.
My parents smoked until I was 6 and I had breathing problems until I was 20 because of it. Just the second hand smoke!
good luck on quittting, it will be the best for you and yours.

Before you get pregnant is the best time to be in great health. At the point of conception is really the most ultimate time for the baby to develop. Within the fist weeks is the most crucial time for an embryo. It develops it's nervous system, brain functions, and sets the pace for the rest of the development in the womb and beyond.
My mom was already eating and taking the appropriate viatims before she even conceived....many doctors will agree its best for the embryo

The advantages of smoking are NONE, while the advantages of NOT SMOKING are GREAT.a longer healthier life to include becoming pregnant and also for the health of you and the baby while you carry it and then breast feeding it to and more health issues as well. There is no try, there is do or do not.(Yoda) also the money you save by not smoking can go towards you and your baby should you have one, so you win by not smoking.

Absolutely quit right now. Regardless of whether or not you are pregnant you will never regret quitting. I've heard hypnosis is very effective as well as the patch. Good luck.

Take it from someone who is addicted to this terrible stuff. If I could go back in time and say "No" to the first one that was offered to me then it would be priceless.
At 18 you have your whole life ahead of you, do not smoke because its simply the most addictive thing on this planet.

If you suspect you may be pregnant, and you want to keep the baby, then definitely stop now. Also find out for sure soon so your doctor can put you on a course of pre-natal vitamins if you are pregnant.
