I'm somewhat of a chauvanist but yet having experienced incompetent, self-centered, out-of-touched with reality, greedy, evil Bush and Chaney, I sure wouldn't mind having Nancy as our president. Anyone else thinks the same?

I don't think Pelosi is "more of a man" but I certainly think she's light years better than the two you mentioned. I pulled a recent AP & won't digress, but a bit of what she said: "This war cost a trillion dollars if it ended now...But more important than that, the lives lost, the casualties sustained, the lost reputation in the world, & the damage to our military readiness...we want to see a plan in a new direction because the direction you've [to Bush] been taking us in has not been successful." Even Wilson (R) says she wouldn't support increasing troop levels "to do for Iraq what the Iraqis will not do for themselves." Collins (R) agrees, too. Of course, this is all about Iraq, but it's a major issue--She seems able to be "humane" & pragmatic at the same time. The ATTACK on Iraq was neither. I can't help noting the macho & psychological motivations (& continued bull headness) of it...

Edit: I guess the Republicans are online today. If they can't do any better than criticise your spelling, well, what's to be expected. & as far as face lifts--what has that to do with ANYTHING? Dumb & dumber. The CONTENT of your question is all I care about. Some people just like to get points by giving foolish answers. You deserve better than that. Hey. I can be mean, too. How about "cross eyed--gash mouthed--can't speak coherently without a prepared speech?"

I agree that she is more competent than Bush or Cheney ever thought about being. But, I take exception to the fact that in order for you to acknowledge it you have to suggest she is more of a man than a woman. At least you admit you are a chauvinist. But you might want to consider that your admiration of her could go far toward dispelling your chauvinism. She doesn't have to resemble a man to be competent, she is a woman who has what it takes and there are many of them around, not just Pelosi.

How can you think so highly of her when you can't even manage to spell her name correctly? Ms Pelosi is allot of things, but presidential material she's NOT! As far as being "more of a man" than Bush/Cheney, well she's certainly got the ego of a man! I would question her judgment in governing though.

Oh, by the way, I think we should use titles, Speaker of the House Pelosi, President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Thanks

It could be an improvement, I would be more inclined to vote for her than Hillery. Either would be an improvement over Bush/Chaney, I just think it would be a mistake to let Bill live in the White House with out much to do.

I think that she'll do a great job as speaker, especially after the speakership of the figurehead Denny Hastert, and the real power behind the throne Tom DeLay.

If I had to vote tomorrow my vote would be for Joe Biden. Bush is going to leave this mess for the next president and with his foreign policy experience and his logical thinking and knowledge towards Iraq I think he's a good fit.

To say she's more competent than that pair is not really a compliment.

As president I'm not sure but it would be an improvement, h... anyone would be.

If you're going to offend our Vice President, you need to spell his name right. It's Cheney. And what's better, you spelled your own hero's name wrong-- it's Pelosi.
You take a look at Senator Pelosi's plans for America, then you tell me who's living in an unrealistic world.
Also, when you debate, it's best to use facts, not expletives, to accuse your opponent. It's not honorable, and plus, it makes you look like you can't come up with a good arguement.

any one with a brain will agree with that.but what about Clinton I think she could chew Bush up and spit him out before he knew what happened.
Is he really this stupid or don't we understand him? if he is stupid get him out of office before he kills anymore of are young people.

Nancy Pelosi is probably the worst thing to happen to the Democratic party since Lyndon Johnson.
I think that with her 'guidance', the party and ultimately, our country will suffer tremendous failure and perhaps even become officially Socialist.
