I'm 19 years old and I have always wanted to write a book about my life and then I wanted to put advice or how to deal with those situations or what I would have done do you think people would actually find a book like this interesting?

I would write about my parents divorce, parents working all the time, and about being pregnant. True older people have a lot more expierence but kids and teens go though expierences to and most adults forget that. That's something I want to grasp while I'm going through this transation of teen to getting older to being a mother.

I think that you are to young to be dealing out advice, no offense.A better idea for you might be to interview older people who have been there/done that and see how they dealt with situations. Then compile that into a book.

Good Luck.

I say go for it! Start putting your ideas down on paper! There's always something out there for everyone, and I know there's someone else out there who would benefit from your experiences. Don't ever let people tell you you can't do something or hold you back from something you feel strongly about - if you feel you've got something to say, especially if you think it could help people, then go and say it! I think it's a fantastic idea, and you never know where it may take you. Books are journeys, both for the writer and the reader, so go ahead and tell us your story and hopefully you will gain much more than you bargained for!

I am sure people would read it. Advice books are very popular. Not only does real life make interesting reading the best way to learn is through experience even someone else's. I wish you all the luck in your writings.

the thing is that. anyone can write a book and fill it with really good adviec, but what gets people to read books is the ability to make a compelling story.
your life story would make an interesting read. but if you don't put it in a way that's simple, sincere, and engulfing, people might not want to read it.

I would. Any self-help information is great to read. Especially if the person is writing about things that are similar to their life. Good luck on this. Writing is very theraputical and if you're not helping someone else. You could very well be helping yourself. Take care.

Perhaps the only way to find out is to do publish it and see. However any story is worth reading in some fashion.

Wait until you've had some more life experience. At 19, you are still green, but I digress...

I'm sure people who love self help books would go for it.
