Do it yourself!!! Just empty the radiator (there's a little screw at the bottom...unscrew it and empty the contents of your radiator into a bucket.

Step one..turn your engine on to warm it up..get it to operating temp. Turn the heat on in the car to HI.

Step two...undo the radiator screw at the bottom of the radiator. This allows the coolant to escape from the radiator.

Step three...If your car is eqiupped with an overflow tank for radiator fluid...empty it too...check your owners manual.

Step four...flush your radiator with DISTILLED WATER ONLY. Just pour it into your radiator until it fills the radiator...screw the screw back in to let it circulate thru the entire system....then empty it too.

Last step...get some radiator fluid that is either full strength (you'll have to dilute it) or 50/50 mix...and fill your radiator.

Full strength antifreeze needs to be diluted with distilled water to make a 50/50 solution. NEver put full strength antifreeze in your radiator.

Any questions..just buy some 50/50 antifreeze...it's already mixed for you.

Check your radiator fluid after about 50 miles to be sure there's enough fluid still in the system. If not, add more...

That's it...you're done!!!

I fully agree with vf29_ sand. I have a 1984 Dodge that has only got changed when I replaced a water pump. No problems and I live in the Mojave Desert where it gets real HOT
