It was annoying, there no way of knowing wait i'll search it...oooo check out the link below i searched 'Without A Trace episodes' on google and then the comments on the episode in question. This is the result. Problem solved !

I didn't get it either, but I got the feeling that it was the boy that lived - the dark haired agent (sorry, don't know her name) was working on the girls case, and it showed her looking into the boot of a car (presumably at a body), while phoning Jack and telling him they had a positive ID.
