I'm not sure if i'm underweight or not? I'm 5'2-5'3 and i weigh in at 107lbs. I went through a dramatic time and lost 32 pounds within a month and a half about 4 years ago. I'm trying to gain some weight back but i cant, i have tried everything. fast food alot, 3 meals a day with snacking in between, all the high calorie foods, shakes but nothing is working. I'm not sure if my next question has anything to do with it but over a year ago i stopped having my period i don't think it has anything to do with the dramatic weight loss i had 4 years ago because my period stopped only a year ago i am only 20 turning 21. My husband and I are thinking about trying to conceive. I have been to the doctors and thery did some test which all came out perfect, only thing wrong is my blood is too think do to smoking. but i really want my period back i have tried everything from acupuncture and their herbs, to vitex, ovulex, female toner. never been on BC pills and is not an option.will not take BC pill

Being underweight or overweight can have a huge effect on your fertility. Try drinking three glasses of whole milk a day. My son was underweight and people were threatening to call social services on me. Even though it ran in my husband's family. I started giving him the milk and he chunked up pretty fast. Just be careful you don't want to gain too much weight. I think that will help. Also there is something called liquid chlorophyll. It helps support your blood and it might help your period get back on tract. I use it and it works wonders! You can get it at a health food store. Also watch what you're taking I have a friend that wasn't getting her period and then I noticed she was taking a female support vitamin that had false unicorn root in it. Very good for keeping your baby but it stops your period to build up your uterus. And don't panic you can still ovulate and not have your period. There are lots of ways to track it. I track it by touching my cervix. Low not a fertile day, high a fertile day! Try it. I hope one of these suggestions will help, and good luck!!

Well i can answer the 1st question... according to your BMI and height you are not underweight. you should be between 101-136 lbs. So as long as you don't go under 101 you will be fine.
