I work for an ambulance company and I recently went to the bank to make a deposit. When I made my deposit I found out that my account was negative because my payroll check bounced. I notified my company and they said they would issue me a new check. They issued me a new check but it was still a few dollars short. I also told them that I wanted my overdraft charges reimbursed. They agreed to pay them but I am still waiting on the money. One day they say that they are going to wire it and then the next day they say they are going to mail it. I am sick of messing with them. I need some advice on how to handle this.

QUIT!
The company you work for is unreliable. Any company that takes themselves seriousely makes sure that their employees are paid in full ASAP, the consequences of not doing so are far too much of a risk for any serious company to take.
You're only going to go through more of this is you keep working for them.

Don't work another minute there. I've known several people who accepted the companies lies, worked for weeks with no checks, and got the shaft instead.
