Have you never heard that there are the girls you date and the ones you take home to mom? I know that I liked the wild ones as much as any other man but when I got ready to settle down I wanted a lady who would be a good mother, someone to who you can take to the office party and not worry about them getting drunk and doing a strip tease on the counter.

why do good girls like bad boys? why do we smoke when we know that beyond any hopes or chances of a healthy old age, we're going to end up with cancer at some point? why do we jump out of perfectly good airplanes?
whether someone will cheat or not has -ZERO- to do with how freaky they might be. sexual desire has little to do with morality or character. sometimes it can be based on lack of self-esteem, they feel they worth being treated badly or harshly during sex, but i'm not so sure that's too common in these days when porn is slowly creeping back into mainstream the way it was in the 70s. people are definitely becoming more adrenaline junkies. they just like the excitement.
in the end, a guy who likes the freaky stuff may choose a more down to earth girl simply because of things like parenting and how the kids are going to be raised. i remember in the movie Analyze This, De Niro's reason for having a mistress instead of doing those things with his wife were, "That's the mother of my children!" not to be too graphic, but can you imagine your wife kissing your son or daughter goodbye to school the next day after giving you a bj or rim job? for some guys, that's just too much.
other times it's just realizing that as you get older, sex just doesn't mean as much as it used to, and if you are in a really good and loving relationship you don't need the freak stuff to flip your switch. some would call that "growing up".
but yeah, i've seen "good girls" cheat and bad girls be the most loyal you've ever found. that comes from character, not sexual preferences.

I think it's absolutely absurd! Guys who date girls who are 12-40 years younger than them are pedophiles! Do they not understand that these girls can be their daughters or even granddaughters?! Ughh! I find them to be sick people! What's wrong with dating someone your own age, or close to your age? These men can buy someone's body, but they can't buy their love. Girls who date old men should be at fault as well. What they really want is just money and expecting these rich old men to support their lazy useless behind. It's not like these men will live until she dies. They'll die before she turns 30-40! The bottom line is, I would NEVER marry someone who is 5 years older than me! Look at Anna Nicole Smith. When she was in her early twenties, she married this dude that was in his 70's, but he ended up in the grave. She wanted his money, but she didn't deserved it anyway. There's more to life than making a stupid decision. I wish these girls would understand that by marrying someone who can be her father or even grandfather, they are making a terrible decision.

Men love a bad girl to play around with but never ever would you marry one.
Why...because you will always wonder if you could keep her and fear where she might be when your not around.
Good, dependable, loving women are what men want when they commit to marriage. Would you want one of those bad girls raising your children?

guys feel much more secure when we marry a person that probobly won't cheat on us. The pornstar is just a fling, when we marry we want a relationship. Also the person that is a plain jane most likely has more realistic skills, like cooking, traditional work, or (withour cliche) cleaning. It was a good question by the way.

I am a female, but I'm taking a stab at this. I think it's because while the bad girls are fun for a while, when men are ready to settle down they want someone stable & reliable that they can depend on & that will take care of them.
(What do you think guys? Am I right?)

Not all of them marry the good girls, it depends on the guy. If that what happening to you or people you know, obviously they are not mature enough to be in a marriage. Why take the plunge with someone and then continue to behave like you are single? I see no point in that.

Maybe the good girls with the better rep. is great for the guys image especially if he is really known in the community. Also who would really want their wife to be known as the girl that slept with all the guys. Image makes a big statement for guys not matter what step of life they are in. Single - playboy, marriage - great family.

a bad girl is not someone you want to spend the rest of your life with.would anyone want someone who's been around to be a wife and a mother to their children. I hope not. good girls is over stereotyped because people assume that because you are good, you're always good and that's not true. I mean you gotta have fun some time.

They marry good girls because they know the bad girls will cheat on them or leave when the going gets tough.
As for cheating, those guys are just jerks, or are weak.
