LMAO girl you crazy i thought i was the only one i not only stare at the buttons, but i act like I'm cleaning my nails and stare at my feet, then when i leave the elevator i give a phony little smile and some what say good bye very quietly

If they make eye contact with me, I usually smile and from there I stare at the numbers above the door. If they start to make small talk, I will happily chat back.

It does get uncomfortable...I end up staring at the door, the buttons, the ceiling lights, corners......not much else, wish there was!
