'rhinotillexomania' means to compulsively pick one's nose. it comes from ancient greek (rhino = nose, tillexo = habit of picking, mania = mania). obviously just for a joke, but with genuine interest behind it, does anyone know how we could make it '___tillexomania' so that it means 'to compulsively pick someone's brain'?

εγκεφαλος (enkephalos) was the word used for "brain"
The people who coined rhinotillexomania could have just used rhinotillomania but seem to have inserted an unnecessary "exo".
So you could have encephalotillomania or encephalotillexomania.

This would literally mean picking at the brain. If you wanted to express a mania for making use of another's ideas, that would need a whole new set of words: perhaps noemallochrestomania
(noema-allo-chresto-mania)

I'll answer this:
Nootilexomania (noo pronounced no-o, both o-s as in boy)

The ancient greek word for brain (as the part of us with which we think) is nous (nooss, genitive=noos(roots of nouns are shown in the genitive case -the root of paranoia=para(beside)+noia(thinking)).
The word encephalus is right, but it means the organ that is inside the head (en(inside)+cephalee'(head). The word would be encephalotillexomania. Honestly, I had not known about the verb tillexo, but it seems it is in the future tense (if x is pronounced as ks)-where did you find the term. Ok, I'll look it up.

Alright, I found it. Its rhino(correct connective vowel o)+tillexis(the act of the verb, correct x, correct o as in rhino)+mania. Correct!!!
