I've just started a new online business and I do not have a lot of left over capital for advertisements. So far I have used word of mouth to spread the idea. I need a way to get the business idea out and once the ball is rolling it will generate more and more interest. It's the initial jump into the business sector that has been giving me trouble.

A few free resources – check out the sources box for links:

1) Create a blog pertaining to your field

2) Use Yahoo! Local & Yahoo! Groups – Be sure to read the TOS for each one!

3) Write articles pertaining to your field and/or expertise.

4) Advertise on Craiglist

Also, consider signing up for an affiliate program. These programs enable you to advertise on other's sites (your affiliates) and once a sale is made to you, your affiliates & the program are paid a commission.

Email Marketing: Advantage, we're within the digital technology. Disadvantage, reaction cost is rather low and rate is rather prime - round $one million,500 Minimum quantity. Also, the delete button is comfortably and rapidly placed. Telemarketing: There isn't any capabilities to client telemarketing. You aggrivate individuals, you can not succeed in just about as many individuals for the reason that they're at the don't name record. If no longer performed appropriately, you open your self as much as legal responsibility. Postal Marketing is superb. Especially submit playing cards. Advantages, the lists themselves are relatively cheap. There are enormous quantities of specific lists, from saturation (CIS) to Targeted (Acxiom). The client has to no less than convey the piece into the trash so they've the piece in there hand with abundant time to study it. List rate - $ninety five+
