Cleveland is frighteningly happy with the Charlie Frye / Derek Andersen duel for starting QB.
Oakland? While they've seen Jake twice a year, I don't think he's a big enough punk to wear silver and black.
Detroit can't use Kitna forever.
Since Plummer's done well in snow, why not Green Bay? Favre is gone, and Rogers is untested.
Seattle as Hasselbeck's backup / heir? He'd see playing time if it's like this year.
I also think the Carr experiment in Houston could be over, with former Denver O.C. Gary Kubiak pulling the switch?
Green is old in Kansas City, no one impresses me in Tampa Bay or Carolina after this year.
Someone would have to absorb the last 3 years of a 7 year deal.

Jake had a pretty lucrative deal, but the guaranteed money part is over. The Broncos could definitely trade him, if both parties wanted too. It wouldn't have a negative cap impact.
Shanahan needs a quality backup QB, but would probably be fine going with a journeyman, rather than Plummer.
Minnesota likes the kid Jackson, but Plummer would be a good fit. They need a mobile QB. Green Bay could be a possibility if Aaron Rodgers looks like a bust. Who knows what Favre will do...
Trouble is, there aren't that many teams who need a veteran QB, except as a backup. I think Russell, Troy Smith and Brady Quinn may slide down the boards for this same reason.
My guess is Plummer will stay one more year in Denver. Cutler is clearly the future.

He would be a good fit for the Vikings. I think the Broncos have settled on Cutler. Plummer would do well in Minnesota or maybe Oakland. Both are in need of QB's with experience.

Jake Plummer is no longer a starter in this league, unless some injury miracle will rise to wherever he goes. I see him moving into a team that needs veteran help such as the Raiders and playing the role of a Trent Dilfer in San Fran. He needs to help the QB they pick there to make better reads and throws, help him understand the pressures and tendencies of NFL play, help him adjust to how he should react to certain situations, help him learn from Plummer's own mistakes. Plummer is out as a starter, but in as a mentor.

i think he will go to the Texans...and "compete" for the starting job against Carr...but we all know who is gonna win....
plus Gary Kubiak is in Houston...and Jake and him were close back in dever so i think hes gonna stay in Houston
