I know, I know, it was tragic how her dad died, but WOW did they jump on the promotional bandwagon with this little kid! Am I the only one who thinks it's tacky at the least for her to be hitting the road on a promotional tour of "Her Own TV Show" so soon after her dad's death? The kid's only 8 years old, for crying out loud!!

I think it's a little exploitative. They should let her have some semblance of a childhood.

Bindi Irwin had a show and a kids fitness dvd set in the works well before Steve Irwin died. She is an amazing little girl with a personality as huge as her dads. I think she is doing exactly what she should be doing. She is doing what she has always loved doing. She has always wanted to be just like her Daddy and this is her way of staying close and connected with him. She's grown up around all these animals her whole life and this is something she enjoys. Let her do her thing.

Yeah, I agree it is a little early for her to be doing promos. Not as an 8 year old, but so quickly after her father's death. Who knows? Maybe by doing this show, it brings her comfort knowing it's what Steve did and loved.

I believe a show for her was already in the works, even before her father passed away. Apparently, they just decided to move forward. Hey, life goes on, right? And it appears that she is simply wanting to continue her dad's work, so good for her. I bet he'd be proud of her.

Bindi was actually filming this show before her dad died...that is why Bindi, Terri & bob were not with him when he died. They were on location some where else filming. She probably signed a contract and has to sick with it or face leagal action. So...the show must go on!

It's something that had been in the works before Steve's accident and if he was OK with her doing it then I would think he would want her to continue with the project even though he's not by her side anymore.

she already had a show b4 steve died. they were going to be starring in a show together. they had actually film a couple episodes b4 he died. she is a very personable little girl and im sure she is going to be loved just like her dad....

its good for her....its a positive thing to do..maybe its their coping mechanism.....and im happy for the lil kid coz she certainly seems so!
